Race Report: Charlotte 10 Miler (2014)

Charlotte 10 Miler-  10 mile run through the greenways of South Charlotte off Johnston Road

Beautiful day for a ten mile race!  This was a makeup day for the original February 22nd date, which was literally washed out due to heavy flooding on the course greenways.  Start 2 Finish did an awesome job putting this on.  Twice.

I've run a few 5Ks and 10Ks, and I figured it was time to take on the next challenge.  A few years ago I created a list of goals for myself, and running a half marathon was on the list.  After fits and starts of running over the past few years, this year felt like the one.

Race Report: UNCC 49er Gold Rush 5K (2014)

The University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNCC) puts on the 49er Gold Rush 5K every year.  It's 3.1 miles through the campus, up a crushing hill, and then back to the starting point.  The start/finish was in the new stadium.

Race Report: Run Run Rudolph 10K (2013)

I feel like I've been doing pretty well with the 5K distance, and my morning running continues to go well.  It's a bit cold from time to time, but I felt ready to try out my first 10K - twice the distance I've raced before and looking forward to trying out my legs on a longer distance.

Race Report: Harrisburg 5K (2012)

What a nice time!  That's probably the best way to describe this race.  The weather was very nice, the people were super friendly, and it was a great time.
